Business documents
Meta (Facebook) verifies that your company is real. You may need to upload official business documents on business.facebook.com.
What to prepare
Have clear scans or PDFs of documents that show:
- Your legal business name
- Your official address and/or business phone
- Registration / license details issued by authorities
Documents Meta commonly accepts
Based on Meta’s official document guide:

Accepted types can vary by country. Use what Meta’s upload screen offers for your region.
Document quality rules
- Not expired
- Clear and readable (not blurry screenshots)
- Do not edit or digitally alter official documents
- Prefer PDF, JPG, or PNG
- Cover personal ID numbers Meta does not need (e.g. national ID), if present
- If the document language is unsupported, Meta may require an officially stamped translation
Match the name everywhere
Copy the legal name exactly as printed on the document into:
- Utter company name (as close as practical)
- Meta Business Suite business details
- Your website footer / About / Contact pages
Mismatches (extra words, spelling, “Pvt Ltd” vs “Private Limited”) are a top reason for rejection.
